Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics Dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your engagement's progress. It pulls together data from your findings, navigator, C2 infrastructure, and terminal sessions into a single view — so you always know where you stand.

Opening the Dashboard

  1. Open your engagement
  2. Go to Analytics in the left sidebar
  3. The dashboard loads automatically with data for the current engagement

Dashboard Filters

At the top of the dashboard, you can filter data by:

FilterDescription
SubprofileShow data for one segment only (or all)
Time RangeFilter metrics to last 7, 14, or 30 days

Changing filters updates all dashboard sections simultaneously.

Dashboard Sections

1. Findings Summary

A quick overview of all your findings:

MetricMeaning
TotalTotal number of findings recorded
CompletedFindings marked as completed
In ProgressFindings still being worked on
Completion Rate% of findings that are completed

2. Finding Coverage

Shows how much of the MITRE framework you've covered:

MetricMeaning
Total TechniquesAll techniques in the navigator
Covered TechniquesTechniques that have at least one finding
Completed TechniquesTechniques fully completed
Coverage %Covered / Total as a percentage

This is one of the most important metrics for reporting — it shows what percentage of the threat landscape you've tested.

3. Top Tactics Coverage

A bar chart showing which MITRE tactics you've covered the most. For each tactic, you can see:

  • Total techniques in scope
  • Number completed
  • Completion percentage

Useful for identifying gaps — tactics with low coverage that need more attention.

4. Coverage Heatmap

A visual heatmap of all techniques across all tactics. The color intensity shows how many findings you have for each technique:

  • Dark / intense — many findings, well-covered
  • Light — few or no findings

Use this to visually spot gaps at a glance.

5. Completion Timeline

A daily chart showing how many findings were completed over time. Useful for:

  • Understanding engagement pacing
  • Showing client progress (e.g., "we completed 12 techniques this week")
  • Spotting slow periods

6. Recent Activity

A live feed of the most recent actions in the engagement:

  • New findings added
  • Technique status changes
  • Navigator updates

7. Top Tools

Shows which tools you've used the most during the engagement, based on command tracking from the terminal:

ColumnMeaning
ToolTool name (nmap, gobuster, etc.)
CategoryTool category (scanning, enumeration, etc.)
Use CountHow many times it was used
Last UsedWhen it was last run

8. Tool Categories Chart

A pie or bar chart breaking down tool usage by category — scanning, web enumeration, credential attacks, etc. Useful for showing the breadth of your assessment approach.

9. C2 Infrastructure

A summary of your C2 setup:

  • Total frameworks deployed
  • Total nodes
  • Number of origin nodes
  • Framework breakdown

10. Metadata

Engagement details including:

  • Profile name
  • Date range of data shown
  • When the dashboard was last generated

Using the Dashboard for Reporting

The Analytics Dashboard is designed to support your report writing. Key sections to include:

  • Finding Coverage — shows assessment breadth
  • Top Tactics Coverage — shows which kill chain phases were tested
  • Completion Timeline — shows engagement progression
  • Top Tools — documents the toolset used

You can take screenshots of individual sections to include in your report.

Tips

  • Check the dashboard at the start and end of each working day to stay on top of progress
  • Use the Subprofile filter when reporting on a specific segment of the target
  • The Coverage Heatmap is great for presenting to clients — it's visual and easy to understand
